The King’s Transnational Law Summit (KTLS18), organized around the theme “The New Human Condition: Creating Justice for Our Future,” brought together about 400 participants, encompassing “legal scholars and practitioners, policymakers, city councils and unions, grass-root associations, fiction writers and poets and activists.”
I participated in a panel on UBI, along with Sarath Davala (independent sociologist), Claus Offe (Hertie School of Governance), Karl Widerquist (Georgetown University-SFS Qatar), and moderator Guy Standing (SOAS, University of London).
